The device has been rigorously tested and certified for its resistance to splashes, water, and dust under specific laboratory conditions, achieving an IP68 ingress protection rating according to IEC 60529:1989+A1:1999+A2:2013. Testing included immersion in still freshwater at depths of up to 1.5 meters for no longer than 30 minutes, ensuring that the temperature difference between the water and the device did not exceed 5K. This level of water resistance is confined to controlled laboratory environments and may not hold true in everyday situations. Consequently, ingress protection cannot be assured outside these testing parameters. We strongly advise against personal experimentation and caution that the device is not intended for use at the beach or pool. Daily wear, physical impacts, or necessary disassembly for repairs can compromise ingress protection. It is crucial to refrain from charging, using physical buttons, or removing the SIM tray while the device is wet. For additional safety guidelines, please consult the user manual. Liquid damage resulting from conditions beyond the IP68 test will not be covered.

The Xiaomi 13 Series operates best in ambient temperatures ranging from 0°C to 35°C, with storage capabilities between -20°C and 45°C. Prolonged exposure to high heat during charging or storage can cause irreversible damage. In very cold environments, you may notice a temporary reduction in battery life; however, as the battery returns to its optimal operating temperature, performance will be regained.

For optimal wireless charging efficiency, we recommend using a charger that exceeds 50W.
